長崎県壱岐市 在住
ペン画の技法を用いた作品を制作、「好奇心と多様性」をテーマに繊細かつ大胆な世界を描く。グラフィックデザインの専門学校を卒業後、ゲーム会社にてCGデザイナー 、UI/UXデザイナー、アートディレクターを経験2011年よりアーティスト活動を始め、展示やライブペイント、ワークショップなど展開。海外では韓国、パリ、モナコ、カリフォルニア等のアートフェアに出展、年齢国籍問わず幅広い層から評価を得ている。

ステートメント
「好奇心と多様性に満ちた世界」
作品にはたくさんのモノが描かれます。
それは幼い頃から大好きだった、ウォーリーを探せやミッケなどの 探し絵本の影響を強く受けているからでしょう。さらに、地元青森のねぶたから得たダイナミックさ、 テレビゲームから得たエンタテイメント性、マンガから得たコントラスト、様々な要素が複雑に折り重なりそれぞれの作品が構築されています。
私が絵を描く時は、常に全体と細部を同時に見ています。
そのため、遠くから見た時、近くで見た時、時間をかけてみた時、それぞれ違う印象を受けながらも統一感を感じる事ができると思います。
大小感、遠近感、優先順位、関係性、時間の感覚、
「全てが曖昧で全てが調和のとれた世界」「好奇心と多様性に満ちた世界」
それがコガワ健太の描く世界です。

He creates works using pen drawing techniques and draws a delicate and bold world with the theme of “curiosity and diversity”. After graduating from a graphic design vocational school, worked as a CG designer, UI / UX designer, and art director at a game company. Started artist activities in 2011, developing exhibitions, live painting, and workshops. He has exhibited at art fairs in South Korea, Paris, Monaco, California, etc. overseas, and has been highly evaluated by a wide range of people regardless of age or nationality.

Statement
“A world full of curiosity and diversity”
Many things are drawn in the work.
It’s probably because I’ve been strongly influenced by the picture books I’ve loved since I was little, such as Where’s Wally and Mike. In addition, the dynamics obtained from the Nebuta of the local Aomori, the entertainment characteristics obtained from video games, the contrast obtained from manga, and various elements are intricately folded to create each work.
When I draw, I always look at the whole and the details at the same time.
Therefore, when you look at it from a distance, when you look at it from a close distance, or when you take the time to look at it, you can feel a sense of unity while receiving different impressions.
Sense of size, perspective, priority, relationship, sense of time,
“A world where everything is ambiguous and everything is in harmony” “A world full of curiosity and diversity”
That is the world that KOGAWA KENTA draws.
